Woman Sentenced In Sex-Abuse Case

PUTNAM, Conn. -- A woman accused of sexually abusing a young boy and
then using the threat of witchcraft to keep him from reporting the abuse
has been given a suspended prison sentence.
Ms. P., 36, formerly of Willimantic and now of Waterbury, pleaded
no contest to the charges and was given three years' probation in addition
to the suspended sentence.
