Grandmother Arrested For Rape
PULASKI, TENNESSEE -- A Pulaski grandmother is out of jail on a 100-thousand
dollar bond for allegedly raping her grandson. The victim's father says
he's in shock and can hardly believe that his 62-year-old mother could do
such a thing. Michael E. says his eleven-year-old son did not know any
better when his grandmother, Mary H., convinced him there was
nothing wrong with taking showers with her. Michael E., a truck driver, says his
son lived with her while he was on the road. The boy told his father
what happened after he moved back home. Mary H. is charged with four
felony counts each of incest and rape. She is
scheduled to appear in court next month.
