Woman Jailed For Sex With Boy
PORTLAND, MAINE -- A mother from South Portland has been ordered to serve 20 days behind bars and stay off the Internet at home after admitting having sex with a 14-year-old boy. Prosecutors say Laura N. met the boy in an on-line chat room last year. Yesterday, a judge sentenced her to 90 days at the Cumberland County Jail... although she'll be eligible for work release after 20 days. That will be followed by four years' probation, to include random searches of her home computer.
