Ex-Teacher Leaving To Await Appeal
A Circuit Court judge Monday morning granted former teacher Ms.
D. permission to leave the state and stay with a West Virginia family
pending her appeal of a 3 1/2-year sentence for having sex with a 14-year-old
student.
``I'm just glad they're going to let me go. I'm looking forward to the
summer and winter in the mountains,'' D. said after a brief hearing
in which Judge Robert P. Frank granted her request....
