Do Child Molesters Endanger Your Children?

Politicians use fear to terrorize the public into giving them
votes.
The exaggeration makes us believe that we need
the politician and his extremist laws to protect us.
The media is in the business of exaggeration, of hype and
terror.
Of course sex is the American obsession, so hype
about sex and sexual fears are grist for the mill of modern yellow
journalism.
The best horror stories can be woven around the sexual abuse
of children.
Child molesters are monsters, vampires, demonic
forces!
The stories are so ridiculously exaggerated and hyped
that parents actually believe that their children are in danger.
Last year quite a number of children died.
How dangerous were
the perverts?
- Number of children killed by perverts: 7
- Number of children killed by drunk drivers: 244
- Number of children drown: 290
- Number of children killed on bicycles: 438
- Number of children killed in playground accidents: 464
- Number of children killed by gun fire: 4,913
- Number of children killed my medical blunders: 5,007
- Number of children killed in auto accidents: 6,104
- Number of children killed by parents: 8,292
Okay, so perverts seldom kill children.
It's much more common
for adults to be killed in sexual attacks that for children to
be killed.
A woman who is raped has a fairly high risk of being
killed or injured.
That's due in part to the very extreme
punishments being imposed on rapists.
He doesn't want to leave
a witness to testify against him, so he kills the victim.
As the punishments for molesting children become ever more
unreasonable, more child victims will be killed for the same
reason.
Generally, child molesters like children and have no desire
to harm them in any way.
If the perverts don't kill the children, do they cause them
serious injury?
In the past year, the statistics are:
- Number of children seriously injured by perverts: 2
- Number of children seriously injured by drunk drivers: 1,108
- Number of children seriously injured on bicycles: 2,105
- Number of children seriously injured in playground accidents: 4,064
- Number of children seriously injured by gun fire: 7,226
- Number of children seriously injured my medical blunders: (Unknown)
- Number of children seriously injured in auto accidents: 11,804
- Number of children seriously injured by parents: 36,253
In reality, child molesters pose little danger to your child.
Your child is in 10,000 times greater danger from you.
A little sex probably doesn't really do much harm to anyone, child or adult.
But sex is the American obsession, it's sensational and feeds
into the neurotic American love/hate fascination with sexuality.
Americans love sex, but they think they aren't supposed to like
it, that it's wrong, dirty or "sick."
The sexual interest in children has always been common and
very widely spread.
It doesn't seem to have done much harm even
in the 1890s when all the major cities of Pennsylvania had whores
as young as 8 being sold in the ubiquitous whorehouses.
We should not harm our children.
We should nourish them.
Still, it does no good to exaggerate the dangers of sexual assault.
If you really want to keep your daughter safe, keep her out of
school.
She has a very high likelihood of contracting a serious
disease and a good chance of dying from it.
If you really want to protect your son form death or injury,
keep him away from sports.
Baseball is 7000 times more likely
to kill him than a pervert.
