Test two: Muse alprostadil combined with Viagra sildenafel

by Mark Spiran

In this second test of alprostadil I tried Muse alprostadil in combination with Viagra sildenafil, with my female partner in a session of approximately 100 minutes duration.

As a sexual enhancer, I sometimes make use of 50 mg Viagra sildenafil to help maintain a constant erection for this length of time. In this test, I instead used only 25 mg Viagra sildenafil plus 500 ug Muse alprostadil. Other sources have reported good results with these two treatments combined (see Journal of Andrology, Vol. 26, No. 6, November/December 2005).

Results:
I took the Viagra 30 minutes before our session and the Muse 15 minutes after the Viagra. At session start, prior to any foreplay, I had the beginnings of an erection, presumably from the work of the Muse alprostadil, though my anticipation of activity may have played a psychological role.

During our session, it was easy to maintain a full erection at all times for more than an hour and a half. I experienced almost none of the usual Viagra sildenafil side effects that are common with the higher dosages.

Conclusions:
The makers of Muse claim alprostadil produces an erection even in the absence of sexual stimulation. My own experience has been that alprostadil produces only a limited effect in such circumstances, but works as an erection enhancer in the usual environment of sexual encounters.

The combination of Viagra sildenafil and Muse alprostadil plus sexual stimulation works effectively and with fewer sildenafil side effects than when using a higher dosage of Viagra sildenafil alone.
